Let’s start with the easiest look of them all, bangs. So many people are actually doing it during this lockdown till it has been nicknamed ‘pandemic bangs’. All you really need for this look is a pair of scissors and a comb. You can add on hair clips to prevent yourself from cutting more hair than you intend. It is also advisable to leave your hair dry while cutting as wet hair will shrink after drying, causing your bangs to be shorter than what you actually want.
1. Separate your hair into a perfect center parting.
2. After that, separate a small part of your hair at the front into a tiny triangle, make sure that it is even on both sides.
3. Once you have the perfect triangle, you can tie it together to ensure even cutting or you could just hold it together using your index and middle finger.
4. Proceed to cut your hair little by little until you are happy with the length of your bangs.
Satisfied? Then put those scissors down! If you want to frame your face you can repeat steps 2-4, making the triangle bigger and cutting more hair.

Trimming Split Ends

Split ends are one of the most common hair problems among women. It usually happens when your hair has been damaged by extreme weather conditions, chemical hair products or even your favourite hair care techniques such as blow-drying, straightening, and curling. If you face this problem, you should treat it rather than wait for the hair salons to reopen. The only real cure is by cutting and trimming the ends of your hair, and here’s how you can do it:
1. Make sure your scissors are very sharp as blunt scissors may cause more damage to your hair.
2. Part your hair according to its layers. The thicker your hair, the more layers you are supposed to have.
3. Start off with the first layer. Hold your ends with two fingers and proceed to trim your ends.
4. Continue trimming remaining layers until you are satisfied with the result.
And there you go! You have a full set of healthy hair which costs you nothing.

1. Tie your hair in a low ponytail using an elastic rubber band. Adjust the elastic to the length of hair you desire and use it as a guideline.
2. To create an edgier look, section two front parts of the hair and tie it with an elastic rubber band to be cut later.
3. Cut your hair right below the elastic, you may use an electric razor to even the ends.
4. Remove the elastics from the two front sections of your hair and cut it diagonally on both sides.
5. Use a hair razor to soften the rough edges of your hair.
Here’s a friendly reminder: you should cut your hair little by little and repeat the whole process until you’ve reached your desired hair length.
