“It was a life-changing experience. Juicing helps supplements what I am not eating”, said Asma’ Nasa, a content creator who shares juicing tips and recipes on her social media. As someone who constantly dealing with busy routines, Asma’ never neglects her juicing routines. Ever since she came across a documentary called “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead”, she learned so much about the importance of maintaining a good healthy lifestyle.
Why I started juicing?
I constantly check on my body condition as it is important to maintain a good health. Before I started juicing, I had skin problems where my skin was drying, and I experienced breakouts too. I also constantly felt like I lose my energy easily and I would go for a mid-day nap. Up to one point, I experience heart palpitations, so it was worrying. I was looking for the right thing to do for my body, and I found that juicing helps in improving our health.
My juicing routine
I did my reboot plan for 15 days before I constantly do my juicing plan daily.
I usually prepare my juice in a big amount, then keep it in an airtight glass bottle.
Even though it is always best consumed within 24 hours, but juices can stay fresh up to 2-3 days so do not worry! If I have some extra time, I will prepare my juice freshly before I consume it.
Never too late to practice a healthy lifestyle
In this pandemic period, it is important to make our health as a priority. I believe MCO and CMCO are the best time to start this journey as most of the time all of us are home. As we spend lesser time outside, we would have plenty of time to prepare for the juice and home food. I want to share the goodness of juicing as it would benefits all of us. It is never too late to start practicing a healthy lifestyle.
Everything starts from our guts. Make a lot of reading on the benefit of juicing and you will realize how important it is for your daily life. Make vegetables and fruits as your best friend.
Secret tips for juicing
I prefer my ingredients consist of 80% vegetables and 20% fruits for more nutrients rather than glucose. My favourite base of ingredients are green apples, oranges, carrots, ginger, celery, beetroot, and spinach. The ratio for each ingredient is up to you as I do not specify the ratio of ingredients for my juice. If you get the goodness of the juice, you are good! I consume my juice early in the morning, 30 minutes before I have my breakfast.
Juicing is not expensive
Normal perceptions believe that juicing is an expensive lifestyle, but we should remove that perception. I usually get my juice ingredients from local products because it is cheaper. My favourite local store is in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail.
Sometimes I go to B.I.G Grocery as they have a discount corner which could save my money. Choose wisely where to get fresh ingredients at best price. Do not use the cost as an excuse.

Amazingness of juicing
My body feels recharged every time I consume my juices as it boosts my energy. I also do not have to worry about the nutrients that I need for my body as everything is already in a glass. Besides, I can feel the differences in my skin as it gives a healthy and natural glow. I rarely have skin problems anymore. Most importantly, juicing provides loads of vitamins and antioxidants, that would detox your skin and aid in removing toxins from your body.
